The first step is to submit the following application along with any pertinent documents.

The following is also strongly recommended:

  • Get your direct neighbors' approval for your project in writing. This includes the neighbors across the street and on either side of you.
  • If you are changing the colors of your home, put up swatches of paint prior to painting so that affected parties can see it.
  • Revisit your CCR's and other correspondence from the SVHOA such as newsletters and meeting minutes to make sure your project is in compliance.
  • Keep in mind that you might be responsible for drainage and other aspects of your project that could adversely affect the community.
  • Plan ahead and start your submission early enough to accommodate your contractors. Expect your approval to take up to 45 days depending on the time of month the submission is made.
