"Things you should know"
CC&R's are the governing documents that represent a contract we all agreed to when we bought our homes. All homeowners should have a copy. Stanford Village homeowners are obligated to follow through with our agreements. The SVHOA Board enforces these documents and, through the course of each year and through differing boards, decides how much effort will be assigned, if any, to each issue. Therefore, who's on the board, and what the board decides to do or not do, can have a tremendous impact on all of our property values and on the level of enjoyment homeowners have while living in the village. I urge homeowners to pay close attention to these documents as they can save the Board and homeowners enumerable heartaches and give understanding to the how's and why's of Board and Property Management actions and decisions as required by the State of California. This knowledge can be enhanced by attending SVHOA monthly meetings.
